Overview
Koneksyon Lakay found its roots by two Haitian Entrepreneurs in the computer sales, services, website design industry. These partners found that they were very successful in the American community. As part of their five year growth plan, they needed to expand into other communities. Because of their Haitian roots, they chose to offer their services to the quickly expanding Haitian community in Atlanta GA. However, what seemed to be a very easy thing to accomplish became an extremely difficult task. With limited means of communication within the community they reached out to the Haitian radio stations only to find the investment was well outside the budget set for breaking into the Haitian market. After repeated attempts to find a cost effective advertising media, the two partners presented Koneksyon Lakay as an alternative to several investors. Finally, the two guys partnered with two other young but very business minded individuals to breathe life into Koneksyon Lakay Magazine. In an effort to create a cost effective means of communication for us in the community helped developed Koneksyon Lakay; what is now an entertainment and advertising publication in the Haitian community in Atlanta. Koneksyon Lakay is a high quality product, well established professional business image and reputation. The target market is all present and future Haitians in the Metro Atlanta area. The goal of the founders is to help connect Haitian Enterprises with the Haitian consumer in our community.
